Behind the Scenes at Walter Library

Did you know Walter Library is turning 100 years old?  To celebrate the Alumni Association is inviting you to a very special Behind the Scenes in this century-old campus mainstay. Learn about the history, construction, and ongoing legacy of what was once the “new” library on campus. 

Experience Walter Library in a way you never have before!

• Go on an owl scavenger hunt - as a part of a top to bottom architectural tour of the building, you’ll get to explore the space and find a host of hidden features!
• Visit the past - view archive artifacts and blueprints of the first library built on campus.
• Get hands-on in the newest space in Walter — the Toaster Innovation Hub and Makerspace —try out 3D printing, virtual reality, and all types of creative “making” activities.
