Save the date!

Save the date for the next Annual Celebration: Friday, April 26, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. This year will be a unique & entertaining event that honors the service and contributions of President and Karen Kaler to the U.

We have partnered with The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2), a civics-inspired improv comedy show co-founded by alumnus Tane Danger. Tane will lead a fun and entertaining improv performance informed by interviews with President Kaler, Karen Kaler, and others who know them well.

Dubbed as "C-SPAN being suddenly swarmed by the cast of SNL" this definitely will be a lively Annual Celebration you will not want to miss!

Event includes a reception featuring alumni-owned businesses Bauhaus Brew Labs, Deneen Pottery, KLN, and The Homegrown company, full dinner and program.

2018 Annual Celebration Recap

Walter Bond

Hundreds of alumni and U supporters gathered in McNamara Alumni Center last week to celebrate the University and its alumni at the 2018 UMAA Annual Celebration.

The event included an inspirational, high-energy keynote from 1991 CLA graduate Walter Bond, a Gopher basketball alumnus, retired NBA player and current motivational speaker. The social hour included the chance to visit with several alumni-owned small businesses and to peruse alumni-made products in Minnesota Alumni Market.
